Meet the Basil Strategies team and partners.
Denise Silber
Denise Silber is an international eHealth pioneer, entrepreneur and supporter of participatory medicine. She heads up Basil Strategies digital health consultancy and Doctors 2.0 & You conferences. Her web involvement began with her first medical web sites and internet conferences in France in the mid-90′s. Having participated in numerous official working groups on quality and ethics in eHealth in Europe and the US, Denise founded AQIS, the Association for the Quality of Health on the Internet and also became one of the early contributors of Web 2.0 for health in Europe. Basil Strategies co-launched the first Health 2.0 conference outside the U.S. in Paris in 2010 and went on to introduce the Doctors 2.0™ & You conference. Smith College graduate and Harvard MBA, Denise is a President of PharMBA and in 2011, became one of the few American citizens named to the Legion of Honor, France’s highest civil decoration, for her work in advancing international eHealth. Chloé Minard
Chloé Minard is Digital Events and Projects Manager at Basil Strategies. A British national, despite her pre-destined French name, with extensive business development and digital marketing experience in both the UK and France, Chloe is working primarily on Basil Strategies international projects and clients, including the Doctors 2.0 & You conference, corporate training programs, and international community management and Social Media. Romain Robert
Romain Robert is a Project Manager at Basil Strategies. Romain started his professional life in a pharmaceutical company before joining Basil Strategies. He oversees French clients at Basil Strategies. Romain Robert has a double Masters in Marketing and Biology, and his twitter is @Romain_Robert
Bruno Michelon
Dr. Bruno Michelon is a former Ob-Gyn Head of Department in a Paris suburban hospital. As a boardmember of the French gynecological society, he was in charge of the society’s annual scientific publications until 2005. He also wrote various software programs for obgyn hospital departments. Dr Michelon’s responsibilities at Basil Strategies are both medical and technical.
Eric Boussard
Eric Boussard, Health IT engineer, did a doctorate in biomathematics and worked for the Paris hospital system, where he launched one of the first dynamic public health database web sites in France. He specializes in medical web publishing and project management.
Jean-Pierre Rageau
Jean-Pierre Rageau is a Consultant Doctor and Medical Journalist at Basil Strategies. Having written for many of the major medical publications in France, Jean Pierre is well placed to edit and create medical content for the web.
