In 2003, I was asked by the European Commission to produce a report about the case for developing eHealth in Europe. I wrote then that « eHealth is the most important development since the invention of modern medicine and hygiene. »
I stand by that, while admitting that eHealth scale-up has been most elusive, although there are a few exceptions.
